Mr. Robert Coventry has over twenty years experience in the security, protection and investigations field. Mr. Coventry has been the President and CEO of Starside Security and Investigation, Inc. since 1991. He is Board Certified in Security Management and a Certified Protection Professional, (CPP) with the American Society for Industrial Security, International.  Mr. Coventry is a Licensed Private Investigator in Arizona, California and Florida, he holds a Private Patrol Operator License in Arizona, California and is a Private Investigator Security Manager in Florida and is a California Registered Locksmith.

Since founding Starside Security and Investigation Mr. Coventry has provided security for the financial, entertainment and other commercial industries. He has provided executive protection as well as armed and unarmed uniformed security and patrol services in both the public and private sectors.

Recognized for his expertise Mr. Coventry has been contacted by numerous companies experiencing labor disputes to provide consulting services as well as off-duty police officers, armed and unarmed security officers during the efforts to resolve the disputes. As a result of his efforts these labor disputes have not resulted in violent confrontations.

Since September 11, 2001 Mr. Coventry has obtained a certification in homeland security (CHS) and has been contracted to provide security at a dam. By doing so he has contributed to the security of the state of California’s infrastructure. He is an Honor Graduate of the US Army Nuclear, Biological and Chemical warfare school.

Major Financial Institutions have contracted Mr. Coventry to provide robbery suppression teams. He has trained and manages these teams comprised of primarily active and retired law enforcement officers. He has also trained and manages patrol services that provide alarm response and armed ATM technician escort for the banks in major markets throughout the nation.

Prior to the establishment of Starside Security and Investigations, Inc. Mr. Coventry spent four years working for a private investigator and an executive protection specialist, working high risk assignments. During this time he earned the designation of Certified Master Investigator (CMI).

Mr. Coventry began his career in protection in the US Army where he was a sniper squad leader for the 101st Airborne Division. Recognized for his expertise he was part of the security team for then President Regan’s visit to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. During his assignment in Panama he was selected as part of the security team for the Pope’s visit.  During his time in the service he attended numerous schools to include Sniper School, Air Assault School, Forward Observer School and Nuclear Biological Chemical (NBC) School.  He was deployed to Honduras, 29 Palms and provided border protection at the US Mexico border.  He also maintained a Top Secret security clearance.

Mr. Coventry is a member of the following professional associations: American Society for Industrial Security, International – California Association of Licensed Investigators – California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards &Associations – California Robbery Investigators Association, Florida Association of Licensed Investigators.
